Course Overview
Small breed dogs oro-dental and maxillofacial problems
„Small size significant issues.”
Learning objectives:
- Participants will get an updated knowledge about dental oral and maxillofacial issues associated with small and brachycephalic breed dogs.
- Participants will be able to learn the practical approach to presented pathologies with respect to veterinary standards of care and welfare of the animals.
- Participants will be familiar with available solutions for the different aspects of dental and maxillofacial clinical challenges.
- Participants will have also an opportunity to present and discuss their own clinical cases with specialists
Pre-reads (will be made available at e-campus 4 weeks before the course):
- Recap of standard 2D intraoral radiographic and assessment
- Recap of pain management and anaeesthetic considerations for small breed dogs
- Economic aspect of proper dental care for the small and brachycephalic breed dogs
