Course Overview
Small breed dogs oro-dental and maxillofacial problems
„Small size significant issues.”
Learning objectives:
1. Participants will get an updated knowledge about dental oral and maxillofacial issues associated with small breed dogs.
2. Participants will be able to learn the practical approach to presented pathologies with respect to veterinary standards of care and welfare of the animals.
3. Participants will be familiar with available solutions for the different aspects of dental and maxillofacial clinical challenges.
4. Participants will have also an opportunity to present and discuss their own clinical cases with specialists
Pre-reads (will be made available at e-campus 4 weeks before the course):
1. Recap of standard 2D intraoral radiographie and assessment
2. Recap of pain management and anaestetic considerations for small breed dogs
3. Economic aspect of proper dental care for the small breed dogs
