Course Overview
Welcome to the Advanced Lens Surgery MasterClass, an intensive three-day training program designed for veterinary ophthalmologists seeking to enhance their expertise in lens surgery. This course provides a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of advanced cataract surgery techniques, intraocular lens (IOL) implantation, and the management of lens-related complications.
Participants will engage in in-depth lectures covering essential principles, patient selection, and surgical techniques. Practical wet lab sessions will allow hands-on training using artificial models and fresh pig eyes, providing a realistic surgical experience under the guidance of expert instructors. Through case discussions and complication management workshops, attendees will refine their decision-making and problem-solving skills, equipping them to handle complex clinical scenarios with confidence.
This MasterClass is structured to provide a balance between theoretical learning and extensive hands-on practice, ensuring participants leave with confidence in their enhanced surgical capabilities.
This course is tailored for veterinarians experienced and specialized in small animal opthalmologic surgery willing to move on more advanced technologies.
Learning Outcomes
