Education and Experience

1992 – 1997 Veterinary studies at the Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover
1998 – 2004 Post-graduate education and teaching position at the Medizinischen Tierklinik der LMU München. During this time completion of the doctoral thesis on FIV-infection in cats,
Further training as a German veterinariy specialist in small animal internal medicine
Internship and Residency with the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
2005 – Feb 2020: Employed as a specialist in internal medicine and head of the department of internal medicine at the Hofheim Animal Clinic
since 2020 self-employed and employed, working in diefferent prartices and clinics mainly in veterinary internal medicine

Georg graduated from the Veterinary University of Vienna in 2006, where he also completed a rotating small animal internship and a three-year ECVS approved residency program in small animal surgery. 2015 Georg moved to UK and worked as a specialist small animal surgeon in international renowned referral centers (Animal Health Trust, Dick White Referrals). In 2018 Georg returned back to Austria where he is CEO and head surgeon of a busy referral centre. Beside his clinical work, Georg has published articles in peer reviewed journals and has lectured and been invited as a speaker at numerous conferences and CPD courses at national and international level.
