Education and Experience

Dr. Panakova has graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Brno, 2002. She completed her internship at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich in the small animal clinic. From 2003-2007, she finished her residency in veterinary dermatology of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD) in a private veterinary clinic in Birkenfeld under the supervision of Dr.Dr Hans-Joachim Koch, Dr. Stephanie Peters and in cooperation with the LMU Munich (Dr Sonya Bettenay and Prof Ralf S. Müller). In 2009, after successfully passing the European Boards, she was awarded the title of Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology.

Teaching Experience

Dr. Panakova has many years of experience in teaching veterinary students, interns and residents in dermatology. She also led dermatological training for practicing veterinarians in both Europe and Asia.

Research

Dr. Panaková’s main interests are ear diseases and comparative allergy.

Other

Dr. Panakova has been a Board member of the ESVD (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology) since 2010 and is currently the past President.
