EBVS European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery

Current Position

Senior Cardiologist in Cardiology clinic Vetcardia in Warsaw.

Education and Experience

She graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Warsaw and completed a specialization in canine and feline internal medicine at the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław. In 2022, she defended her doctoral dissertation in veterinary cardiology titled “Evaluation of the usefulness of echocardiographic examination in guinea pigs for the early diagnosis of dilated cardiomyopathy.”
In 2012, she completed an internship at a clinic in Austria under Dr. Peter Modler, and in 2016, she interned at the Gran Sasso Clinic under Dr. Claudio Bussadori in Milan.

Georg graduated from the Veterinary University of Vienna in 2006, where he also completed a rotating small animal internship and a three-year ECVS approved residency program in small animal surgery. 2015 Georg moved to UK and worked as a specialist small animal surgeon in international renowned referral centers (Animal Health Trust, Dick White Referrals). In 2018 Georg returned back to Austria where he is CEO and head surgeon of a busy referral centre. Beside his clinical work, Georg has published articles in peer reviewed journals and has lectured and been invited as a speaker at numerous conferences and CPD courses at national and international level.

Teaching Experience

She conducts training in lung ultrasonography and echocardiography in Poland and abroad.

Research

She is the author of scientific publications in the field of cardiology and lung ultrasonography.

Other

She is the president of the Polish Association of Veterinary Cardiology (PAVC) and a member of the Polish Association of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (PAVECC).
