Dermatology IV

Course Overview

Course IV of the dermatology programme is an eminently clinical course, in which more than 40 different dermatological clinical entities will be reviewed. In the first part, all dermatological diseases of endocrine, metabolic, or nutritional origin will be discussed in depth. From the most common ones, such as hypothyroidism or Cushing’s syndrome to the less frequent ones such as follicular dysplasia. In the second part, skin diseases of environmental origin will be discussed. The last day will be devoted to the discussion of specific dermatological problems in cats, led by an expert in feline medicine.
