Assistant Professor for Diagnostic Imaging, vetmeduni, Vienna, Austria
Education and Experience
In 1995 my thesis on radiography, sonography, and CT in chelonians opened the door to the captivating realm of exotic animals. Joining the vetmeduni in Vienna as a university assistant in 1996, I delved into reptile and avian medicine alongside my clinical duties.
Teaching Experience
Since 1996, Michi has participated in various, primarily practical training activities for students (such as film interpretation and animal handling).
Research
My research is focused on diagnostic imaging of exotic animals, mostly reptiles and birds.

Awards
For my academic contributions, I have received both the Pfizer and VOEK prizes for my research on exotic species, while my teaching has been recognized with five student awards.
