Education and Experience

Martijn Beukers is a veterinary diagnostic imaging specialist who graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University. After graduation, he worked in a referral clinic in the southern Netherlands, where he developed a strong interest in diagnostic imaging. He subsequently returned to Utrecht University to complete a residency in diagnostic imaging and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) in 2013.
Following several years in the Imaging Department at Utrecht University, Martijn founded his own company, FOCUS Veterinary Imaging. He now spends most of his time performing clinical imaging work for two large referral hospitals.
Martijn is also a passionate educator and enjoys teaching veterinary professionals who wish to further develop their skills in diagnostic imaging. In addition to his clinical and teaching activities, he is involved in research, with a particular focus on MRI.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking and painting.
