Head Senior Surgeon | Specialist in Small Animal Surgery and Medicine

Education and Experience

Dr. Diane Meiler is Head of Orthopedics, Trauma Surgery, and Arthroscopy at Tierklinik Haar, a referral center for complex orthopedic and surgical cases in Southern Germany. She holds certifications in both small animal medicine and small animal surgery.

She studied veterinary medicine in Budapest and Munich, where she completed her doctoral thesis. After a two-year assistantship in a referral clinic in Franconia, she joined the Veterinary Hospital in Haar in 2008. There, she completed her specialist training in small animal medicine, followed by further specialization in surgery.

Since 2012, she has served as Senior Surgeon, leading and supervising the orthopedic surgical service. Her clinical focus includes advanced orthopedic and trauma surgery, particularly the planning and management of complex limb deformities, patellar luxation, and joint replacement procedures.
