SUMMARY:Feline Medicine\, Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Case management made easy – It can be simple if you know how!\nThis introductory session will give you a thorough overview on the problem oriented work-up of feline medicine cases. Based on several case examples we will learn how to approach problems relevant to felines in a structured manner that will help to ease the way through the jungle of clinical signs\, laboratory findings and differential diagnoses.\nAims:\n– Learn how to structure the diagnostic process in a way that will enable you to reach a diagnosis without taking too many detours\n– Learn how to focus on results in order to quickly assess differentials\n– Learn about having a plan b (and maybe c) in mind from the beginning and not to get lost if an expected result comes back negative\nPreparation material:\n• Introductory video on how to diagnotically proceed with medicine cases.\n• Case material to prepare at home for further discussion during the live workshop\nLive workshop:\nThe cases that have been prepared at home are being discussed. We are doing the further work-up together until the final diagnosis is reached\, and the cross-check confirmes that all the patient`s problems can be explained by our diagnosis. \n

SUMMARY:Dermatology\, Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Autoimmune and immunemediated diseases – part I. – Dr. Chiara Noli\nThere are many autoimmune and immunomediated skin diseases in dogs and cats\, with different pathogenesis and cinical presentations. Some of them are easily diagnosed on clinical grounds but some others histopathology for the diagnosis. Depending on the disease\, therapeutical protocols may vary and the progonosis can be diverse. \nLearning outcomes:\nRational diagnostic and therapeutic approach to autoimmune and immunemediated skin diseases. \n

SUMMARY:Clinical Nutrition\, Session 2
DESCRIPTION:Skin Disease II — The Non-Itchies (Colour Changes & Other Mysteries)\nNot all dermatology cases itch. This webinar explores diagnostic challenges such as pigment changes\, scaling\, haircoat abnormalities\, and metabolic or nutritional causes of non-pruritic skin disease.\nLearning outcomes:\nParticipants will be able to: \n– Build a structured differential list for non-pruritic dermatological presentations.\n– Recognize nutritional\, metabolic\, or endocrine patterns behind colour and texture changes.\n– Select appropriate diagnostics\, including when nutrition trials are indicated.\n– Devise tailored management plans based on underlying pathology.

SUMMARY:Emergency & Critical care\, Session 2
DESCRIPTION:Neuro-Toxicities\nWhen faced with patients presenting with acute neurological signs\, the emergency clinician must rapidly consider toxicities as a possible underlying cause.\nIn this case-based webinar we will revisit the most common toxic agents leading to neurological signs in small animals\, including tremor- and seizure-inducing toxins as well as those causing altered mentation or weakness. We will discuss how to structure the diagnostic approach when the toxin is unknown\, how to stabilize patients with life-threatening neurological manifestations\, and which decontamination and specific therapies should be prioritized. \nLearning outcome:\nAfter this webinar\, participants will be able to recognize neurological signs associated with common toxicities\, implement an effective stabilization and decontamination plan\, and prioritize emergency interventions to improve patient outcomes in time-critical situations \n
